ARE ALL GATES MADE EQUAL... Definitely Not. The Control Systems and the Motor Units themselves vary dramatically. Some have all metal gearing and some have plastic components in the drive system but from the outside they look pretty much the same.  It may sound a bit bizarre but choosing the right Automation Systems is like buying a pair of Skis. You need to make sure get the right system to meet your needs and budget. Back to the Ski analogy, there is no point buying down hill racing skis if your are learning to Ski on a Nursery Slope, one they are super expensive and secondly you would probably struggle to ski. With gates there is no point paying for a system that is designed to work 24/7 opening and closing a motorway barrier if you only operate your gates go to work in the morning and when you come home in the evening. Conversely you don't want a system designed for low use residential application and then expect the system to work all day opening and closing gates to your busy office car park.  ​
